Sequestration Cuts Result in Emply Chairs and Empty Bowls
This year SENCA Head Start preschools resumed classes on Monday, September 3rd minus ten students and three staff members. This decrease was due to budget cuts as a result of the government sequestration.

Community Action of Nebraska Selected to Assist Families Under Affordable Care Act
Community Action of Nebraska has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to fund a statewide network of Marketplace Navigators. Navigators will assist families and individuals enrolling in health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. Open enrollment begins October 1st and coverage will begin January 1st, 2014.
