Energy Auditor & Quality Control Inspector

SENCA is now accepting applications for the position of Energy Auditor & Quality Control Inspector. The Energy Auditor & Quality Control Inspector is responsible for the energy audit inspection of eligible participants’ homes to determine which weatherization measures are required to bring the home into compliance with the SENCA Weatherization Assistance Program and Nebraska Energy Office guidelines and specifications. This position is also responsible for the quality control inspection of completed homes to determine compliance with SENCA Weatherization Assistance Program and Nebraska Energy Office guidelines and specifications. This position will be housed out of the Plattsmouth office. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. A technical degree in construction or a minimum of four years’ experience in construction required. Must possess or have the ability to obtain the BPI Energy Auditor and BPI Quality Control Inspector certifications. Position is full-time. SENCA offers a competitive wage and benefits package. Weatherization Retrofit Installer/Technician

SENCA is now accepting applications for the position of Retrofit Installer/Technician. The Retrofit Installer/Technician is responsible for installing required weatherization measures to the homes of eligible participants. The position is also responsible for assisting with quality control to ensure compliance with the SENCA Weatherization Assistance Program and Nebraska Energy Office guidelines and specifications. This position will be housed out of the Humboldt office. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Prior experience working in construction, heating and cooling, or contracting preferred. Must possess or have the ability to obtain the BPI Retrofit Installer/Technician Certification. Head Start Family Service Advocate

SENCA is now accepting applications for a Family Service Advocate at our Head Start program located in Auburn. Primary responsibilities include recruiting Head Start children and coordinating delivery of services to Head Start families. Minimum qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent, ability to submit timely accurate reports, basic computer skills, and be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and random drug & alcohol testing. Head Start Teacher

SENCA is now accepting job applications for a Teacher position within our Head Start program.  This position is for the 2015-2016 program year which begins in August 2015. Head Start Teacher Assistant Bulldog Beginnings Auburn

This position is located in Auburn at our Head Start collaboration with Bulldog Beginnings. Primary responsibility will be to assist the teacher in implementing all activities and services for children and their families in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards. A Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or 12 semester hours of undergraduate credit in Child Development/Early Childhood Education is preferred. If candidate does not meet preferred qualifications, candidate will be required to obtain CDA during first 2 years of employment.  SENCA offers a competitive benefit package.
